1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SnapUtils website at snaputils.tools (the "Site") or any tools provided through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and SnapUtils ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site.

2. Description of Services

SnapUtils provides a collection of free, browser-based utility tools including but not limited to:

All tools run entirely client-side in your web browser. No input data is transmitted to or stored on our servers. The tools are provided free of charge and are supported by advertising.

We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or remove any tool or feature at any time without notice.

3. No Account Required

SnapUtils does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use any of our tools. Access is open to anyone with a compatible web browser and internet connection.

Because no accounts exist, there are no user-generated content features, no user profiles, and no stored data attributable to you on our servers.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content — including the SnapUtils name and brand, the tool interfaces, code, design, layout, graphics, and written content — are owned by SnapUtils and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without explicit written permission.

4.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of any content you input into our tools (text, code, images, data, etc.). Because all tools run entirely in your browser and no input data is transmitted to or stored by us, we do not obtain any license, rights, or interest in your input or output.

4.3 Feedback

If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas (e.g., by email), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and implement that feedback without restriction and without compensation to you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system or network.
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site's servers, networks, or infrastructure.
Use automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction tools against the Site beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt.
Use the Site to transmit or facilitate any unsolicited communications, spam, or malware.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Site's software.
Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality.
Impersonate SnapUtils or misrepresent your affiliation with SnapUtils.

We reserve the right to block access to any user or IP address that we reasonably believe is violating these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
The tools will produce accurate, complete, or reliable results.
Any errors or defects will be corrected.
The Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.

The financial calculators (Mortgage Calculator, Interest Calculator) are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.

The Plagiarism Checker uses client-side n-gram fingerprinting and does not guarantee detection of all instances of plagiarism. Results should not be relied upon as definitive assessments of originality.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SNAPUTILS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR ITS TOOLS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Site, regardless of the form of action, will not exceed USD $100 or the amount you paid to us in the past twelve months (which for free services is zero), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

8. Third-Party Content & Advertising

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads are provided by third parties, and we have no control over their content. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any third-party advertisements or the products or services they promote.

The Site may contain links to external websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content of any linked external site. Visiting linked sites is at your own risk.

9. Privacy

Your continued use of the Site after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Site.

We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any of its tools at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

11. Termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.

Because no account is required to use the Site, "termination" in practice means blocking your IP address or otherwise preventing access. You may cease using the Site at any time by simply navigating away.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right.
